These bubble mailers are perfect for those times when you need a little extra protection. The outer layer is made from white, FSC recycled paper and the padded interior is compostable 'bubbles'. Waterproof AND you can also write on or stamp the outer paper layer with your brand.

Short-dated stock is should be used within 3 months of purchase. After that time, it will begin to lose its strength.

: • OUTER LAYER
Sustainably (FSC) sourced paper

• INNER LAYERS
Made from completely biodegradable and compostable materials; corn starch, PLA (synthesised from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate).

This combination of materials is non-toxic and contains no Phthalate or Bisphenol A (BPA).

• Certified free of GMO material.

• While these materials are biodegradable and compostable, they are not 100% renewable as the PBAT component is derived from petroleum-based materials. We are limited at the moment by the availability of suitable, sustainable raw materials that deliver the barrier and performance properties we need but are always testing resins made from an even greater amount of plant-based material – exciting times!
: • Low energy production process.

• Production uses approx. 30% renewable energy.
: • These mailers carry the AS 4736 certification for Industrial Compostability. This is because the bubbles are made up of 3 layers of film and, while the individual layers are thin enough to break down in a home compost, when combined, they do not have that certification. Please keep this in mind when communicating to your customers.
